Blackbox Studios is a full service photography studio, providing image capture as well as production and studio rental space for both still and video needs. 15 years experience enables us to anticipate and provide the necessary elements that go into producing a successful photo shoot. We also provide services such as equipment rental, talent casting, food service, RV/Van rental, assistants and grips, stylists/makeup artists, location scouting, prop shopping, set building, digital/Photoshop support, and anything else you may need to produce your photo/video shoot. We are happy to provide estimates for services on a project to project basis!

Studio Space is available for rental on a hourly, daily and weekly basis.

We have three spaces to choose from!

Studio A

• We are conveniently Located 7 minutes from downtown Charlotte in the Arnold Palmer Center. Click on this link for directions  maps.google.com/maps but please note that we are the corner of Proam and Latrobe, not where the "A" is!
• Our studio is 2800 square feet including lobby, conference room, His/Her restrooms, break room, make-up area and shooting bay
• We have a full kitchen for food prep in the shooting bay for food shooters.
• The shooting area is approximately 1500 square feet (27x55 ft) with 20 foot ceilings and a 12' x 14' roll-up bay door for easy access ground level loading. You can drive right in!
• There is extensive parking in the front and back of building and excellent security.
• We provide wireless internet service as well as digital services and support.
• Backgrounds, lighting equipment, and grip needs are available for rent

General Rate Schedule for Studio A

(Studio Rates reflect only use of space and do NOT include equipment, background, seamless, etc)

Weekly: 4/5 days including setup/tear-down                       1500.00

Full Day: 8-10 hours including setup/tear-down                    400.00

Half Day: 4-5 hours including setup/ teardown                      225.00

 

 

Studio B

Studio B is ideal for shooting cars and large sets

•  Located approximately 20 minutes from downtown Charlotte. 4600 Roush Place Concord, NC 28027
• This studio includes lobby, conference room, His/Her restrooms, make-up area and shooting bay
• The shooting area is approximately 3400 square feet with 20 foot ceilings and a roll-up door for easy access ground level loading. You can drive right in!
• Wireless internet service available.
• Backgrounds, additional lighting equipment, and grip needs are available for rent.

General Rate Schedule for Studio B
Rates include overhead light (as seen in photo above) as well as 2-2400 Speedotron power packs and 4- Speedotron 102 strobe heads with one stand & one accessory per head (umbrella or small softbox)
Additional lighting equipment is available to rent upon request.

Weekly: 4/5 days including setup/tear-down                         6000.00 (including basic lighting package)

Full Day: 8-10 hours including setup/tear-down                    2000.00 (including basic lighting package)

Half Day: 4-5 hours including setup/ teardown                      1250.00 (including basic lighting package)

 

Studio C

Studio C is ideal for shooting cars and large sets

•  Located right on the edge of downtown Charlotte.
• This studio includes His/Her restrooms and shooting bay
• The shooting area is approximately 5000 square feet with 20+ foot ceilings and a roll-up door for easy access ground level loading. You can drive right in!
• Backgrounds, additional lighting equipment, and grip needs are available for rent.

General Rate Schedule for Studio C
(Studio Rates reflect only use of space and do NOT include equipment, background, seamless, etc)

Weekly: 4/5 days including setup/tear-down                         3300.00

Full Day: 8-10 hours including setup/tear-down                    1100.00

Half Day: 4-5 hours including setup/ teardown                       750.00

All rates will be rounded up to the next hour. There are no half hour increments.
